My fitness journey began in a way that many of y’all will find relatable. I knew I wanted to make substantial changes to my body, but I had no idea where to begin. I have always been active. I’ve played basketball since the age of 4 and have remained a lifelong athlete ever since. I was content with my body, but I felt like there was so much more progression I could make happen.
Shortly after I was certified as a personal trainer in 2017, I was in a terrible car accident that left me with 3 herniated disks. The T1, T2, and T3 disks in my thoracic spine were herniated badly, and I went through 9 months of chiropractic therapy, until I finally resorted to an epidural injection. From there, I made the decision to rehab myself in the gym. It was a slow but sure process, and in October 2018, I felt like I was finally back to my normal self! However, I was back to square one, where I had to regain everything from strength to flexibility and form. I had gained an immense amount of weight & had 0 endurance. It was tough, but I sought it out and now, through all those mental challenges, I am officially recovered and feeling stronger than ever. Throughout that journey, I realized being a trainer supplemented my rehabilitation, and I was 100% sure I wanted to impact others as much as possible.
When I think back to this moment in time, I completely remember feeling lost and not knowing what to do. I felt intimidated, weak, and above all, lost. Now here we are, years later, and I am creating a business to help give you all the guidance and structure that I wish I had when I first started living a fit and healthy lifestyle. Words can’t express how much this lifestyle has changed the way I feel about myself and my body. The confidence and strength I feel everyday is what pushes me to give it my all in the gym, and my true passion is showing others how they can achieve this for themselves.
